Das Yahikos wiederbeleben an einem Zeitintervall scheiterte kann auch nicht sein, weil Nagato hätte Yahiko ja direkt nach dessen Tod, bzw. nach diesem kleinen Kampf wiederbeleben können. Da kann auch nicht mehr Zeit vergangen sein, wie bei den toten in Konoha und deren Wiederbelebung.

Why didn’t Nagato use Rinne Tensei on Jiraiya?
Since Jiraiya died and his body sank to the bottom of the ocean, he wasn’t anywhere near the village when Nagato used Rinne Tensei. That is also the same reason why Kabuto couldn’t revive him.
